The Reserve on Walnut Creek is an independent living community, locally owned by a nonprofit corporation, governed by a resident Board of Directors and designed for seniors 60+ who want to enjoy carefree living.

Our four story building with one hundred twenty-one residences is barrier free and has sound resistant walls and fire rated construction. Residences have full size kitchens, terraces, one or two bedrooms and one or two bathrooms. Their sizes range from 700 square feet to over 1,600 square feet.

We feature a community/dining room, private dining room, coffee shop, home theatre, wood shop, creative studio, wellness center, library, two guest rooms, game room, beauty/barber shop, sun room, multi-purpose room, lounge and under-building tempered parking with individual storage areas. Also included are a 24-hour emergency response system, secured entry, scheduled transportation, and optional dining.

Our financial structure includes a one time entrance fee that is returned upon transfer to another qualified resident. There is a monthly charge associated with each plan based on square footage.

To reach us, take a drive north on 82nd Place from Hickman and stop near the Urbandale walking trail. Our office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday and after hours by appointment.
